Soul Sisters Southern Kitchen - Kokomo

Husband and I just left SSSK, husband had the pork chop dinner and loved it. I didn’t order anything because I wanted greens and it was sold out (that means the greens must have been very good, have to get there early). Congrats Soul Sisters!

What an amazing experience. I grew up with southern cooking and this was spot on! The pork chop was fried to perfection with the perfect about of seasoning. Very juicy. The sides I got was mashed potatoes (garlic!!! and green beans. Perfect. The absolute best banana pudding I’ve had!! Come and try yourself. I’ll be back again and again

I just happened to look up and see their sign, and being from the South, it caught my eye. I pulled in and they welcomed me and made a fuss and it kinda felt like home. The food was amazing. The greens we're exactly like my name's and bout made me cry! I will definitely be going back and telling everybody about it!

I really wanted to like this restaurant because I have met the owners and they were nice and outgoing toward their customers. Unfortunately the food we had wasn't what I had expected. The pork chop was dry, the fish was more breading than fish, the sweet and spicy wings weren't seasoned at all and the half slab of ribs consisted of 3 bones. The sides were better but only marginally. We went on a Saturday not realizing the menu is limited on every day but Sunday.

Restaurant was warm and comfortable on the cold night. Sweet tea is to perfection. Food was served hot and delicious. Staff very friendly! We will be back!
