Texas Roadhouse - Kokomo

We had an awesome experience at Texas Roadhouse. We hadn't been here since pre covid. Great service by attentive waitress. We ordered sampler appetizer, beer, Margherita, New York Strip Steak with baked sweet potato ceasar salad double pork chops with veggies tossed salad. We each had 4 ounces of meat to take home for a second meal.

We tried to call in ahead to reserve a table but the automated line wouldn’t give us a choice for that. We arrived a few minutes after 8… and waited and waited while people who came in way after us we’re seated promptly. After receiving my text I checked in at the desk and then proceeded to wait some more. What was supposed to be a 20-30 wait turned into an hour. I don’t mind waiting but being forgotten and left to stand along the wall of people who just came I. Was a little more that I could stand. My steak was cooked to order and the rest of my meal was very tasty.. my sons steak was cold all the way through he had ordered it blue rare but it looked like it had been microwaved as there were no grill marks on his steak. He sent it back to be warmed up. He said he was satisfied with his meal, but I don’t think I would have been. I gave 4 stars because the wait staff was awesome and my food tasted great. I will go there again but maybe next time a little earlier in the day.

This place makes me so happy. The food has always been so good, the staff do an amazing job given the fact with how busy they are, they still come out on top! The prices are affordable even the steaks. Definitely the most delicious and affordable places to get a good steak. Thank you TXRH

Filets were excellent, manager stopped by to ask how we were doing, our server Autumn was outstanding!
