Cafe Ekante Houseboat

This place has amazing ambience and good food. Tried their bhetki fry and it was so good ,we ordered again. Chinese preparations was also quite good, specially the soups .<br/ <br/ Cafe Ajante , near by is even more amazing with its amazing punjab food and dhaba type ambience <br/

The location is picturesque,there are two cafes with the same name one serving Indian dishes and the other serving Chinese dishes. We tried the Chinese one, built in the shape of a house boat. food quality is ok and the pricing is decent.

Really liked the veg manchow soup. Also the view is to die for.

Cafe Ekante is one of my favorite restaurant . I went there to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday my experience was amazing . The ambience the food quality was awesome. I had spent great time there

Visiting Eco park hence decided to give this place a shot for family lunch. Preciously I did have a good experience with Cafe Ekante of Biswa Bangla Gate ,this was a bit different though this one is all about Bengali cuisines. We ordered<br/ <br/ Gondhoraj Sharbat good n decent drink<br/ Lassi it was kind of bangali ghol<br/ Aam panna Sharbat again good n decent drink<br/ Topshe Fry battered topshe fry tasted really nice<br/ Bhetki batter Fry thought the fish could have been a bit better<br/ Steam rice good quality baskati rice served hot<br/ Basanti Polao sumptous authentic basanti polao served n garnished hot<br/ Pyaaz Posto . An amalgamation of poppy seed roasted n served with onion,excellent in taste<br/ Daal it was a kind of daal we prepare in our homes<br/ Aloo bhaja nothing beats a combination of bhaat daal n jhoori aloo bhaja<br/ Chicken Duckbanglow . Tender n juicy pieces of Chicken cooked in bengali style with appropriate spices n served with aloo n egg<br/ Gurer Ice Cream The desert part is incomplete without trying the traditional nolen Gurer Ice Cream,it was quite good in taste.<br/ <br/ All in all a satisfied experience with good food n superb ambience by the water body overlooking.
