Route 17 The Steak House

Looking for supper and the ability to sit at a cozy Place, The Route 17 is just the ticket. Haven for meat lovers with prime cuts of the finest meat. If you’re looking for the best steaks in City, this is the place. I went to dinner with my friends. I liked the look of the restaurant and the feeling of the place. I anticipated a good meal. It was a quiet evening with not many other tables occupied. From start to finish I was extremely impressed by the restaurant. It has a wonderful atmosphere – very different to most Steak House in the city. The tables are large and the seats comfortable. The staff were tremendous, helpful and cheerful throughout. Each dish was beautifully presented and very tasty. The meal was delicious and the presentation was superb. The kitchen staff took great care in the cooking and plating of what is a very memorable dinner.It was the first time to visit this restaurant and will certainly go back, an excellent dining experience.

Stake house the name itself works like a black magic with me. I visited the place with my loved one.It has darkish yet soothing to eyes interior. Cutlery they spread on the table will give a premium feel specially I liked the wine flutes they serve water in.Staffs were very communicative with us and informed well about the ingredients in their dishes. But that day a huge chunk of their menu offering were unavailable. THAT'S AN UNPLEASANT SURPRISE FOR ME. Hope next time I will have better experience. We ordered fish N chips. The outer layer was good to taste and crispy. The fish was smelling quite good with with delicious juiciness. French fries were good too. The mayo based deep sauce was fingerlicking good but the quantity should be a little more. Virginia mojito and pineapple smoothie was very neatly presented. Pork chops were pretty big in size. Vegs, mashed potato and sauté onions were well prepared. The spicy gravy poured on the chop was overpowering the original taste of the meat. Little less spicy is preferable. Overall I had a good time recommend this place to everybody. BUT PLEASE MAKE ITEMS IN YOUR MENU CARD AVAILABLE.

The food was no doubt delicious. I had their fish and chips and apple pie with vanilla ice cream. The food quenched my taste buds. The decor was nice and the location is easy to find.Went their for lunch and would have liked some nice music in the background instead of the movie that was on. All in all, a good experience.

If you are looking for an affordable steak place; look no furthur.Try out the ham steak with sunny side up ,sauteed vegies, french fries and it will be your money's worth.

After going through the reviews in zomato i thought of trying this place today! Located in one of the lanes of sarat bose road, Route 17 serves an amazing treat to the tongue for all the steak lovers in town! At first i was a bit unsure about this place, but i was absolutely satisfied with my decision. The interior is simple yet decent. The staffs were friendly and cordial. But the best reason to visit this place is food! I must say that the food quality is really good. We ordered one spicy chicken cocktail sausage as appetizer and california fish steak and chicken cardon blu for main course. All the dishes were lipsmacking with special mention to california fish steak! The fish was really soft and juicy and tasted very good. The spicy cocktail sausage was something new that we tried and i loved the preperation. Since we were absolutely full we couldnt order for desserts any furthur but they even have some very good choices of desserts. I would definitely give a second thought of coming to this place and try some more new dishes! The prices are affordable and definitely worth the food quality! Highly recommended.
