Melike Hatun Bazaar - Konya

The market was previously known as the Women's Market (kadınlar Pazari) because women producers from all over the province would come daily to sell their locally grown crops and products. The new name, however, is in honor of Malika Khatun, daughter of Maulana Jalal al-Din al-Rumi. Despite the name change, locals still refer to it as the Women's Market. This market, also known as Malika Khatun Market, is vibrant and colorful, offering a variety of products including fruits, vegetables, cheese, butter, olives, and meat. It is conveniently located in the center of Konya, near the tomb of Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi.
