Farm 253 - KOONDROOK

This restaurant is a hidden gem located on a side street just a five-minute walk from the Old Port.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem located at the back of a farmhouse. The food was delicious, with a small but carefully curated menu that was beautifully prepared and presented with amazing flavors. I recommend arriving early as it can get quite busy and some dishes may sell out. We will definitely be returning in the future.

This is an amazing find for lovely locally farmed and produced food. Great wholesome lunches and the most amazing relishes, preserves and sauces. All local and made with care Open on weekends only You must try the cakes.

Home made and mostly home grown food is Always delicious. Lunch was lamb and pumpkin curry & pork roast. Both were generous portions and super tasty. Cakes, brownies, crumbles, cheesecakes, jams preserves all so tempting. Friendly staff and good coffee. Just a pleasure.

Visited Farm 253 for lunch. Meals were just sensational. We had slow cooked lamb with a roasted vegetable & pearl couscous salad and Thai Chicken fritters with a noodle and fresh herb salad. Everything is paddock to plate with close to everything being from the farm. Cakes are to die for!! So leave room for one or two of them :)Good range of pickles and preserves on display for you to purchase also. Purchased some jalapeños so will see how they go!Lovely friendly service with a smile.
