Fidelio Family Greek - Kos

Good dining under the oleanders Midday sun during summer in Kos town can be brutal. The Fidelio offers great shade cover from the scorching sun and serves a great lunch as well. Located next to the largest ancient agora in Greece, the Fidelio has a comfortable location a couple of blocks from the waterfront area.. I ordered a moussaka and a Kos salad. Both were served in a timely fashion and both were tasty , although the croutons in the Kos salad a type of Greek salad) were hard enough to break a tooth or two or three.

Super friendly family restaurant (everyone in the family helps you in one or multiple vocations), started with fresh well grilled sardines, followed by the mixed fish grill with insane sauce/ jus and great tartar sauce, topped off by an old school bananasplit. Would highly recommend.

Nice restaurant, prices are good and location is excellent. Service could be nicer but food was great. Next to the excavation is making an really great feeling to be. 2* House Wine, 1*Ouzo and mixed gyros plate 19€

Great evening meal in this family-run restaurant. traditional dishes get an update with some super, free supplements. that was delicious. on request of bill we were provided with an unexpected gift of soft, warm chocolate cake, ice and saw a full dessert! we will come back because our trust in the good home kitchen is a winner for us.
