Mylos Beach Bar Restaurant - Kos

If you want something very traditional, this is not your place to eat. But the food was good! I would recommend the truffle fries, very good!

This place is really in two parts the area of sunbeds for rental on the sea shore and the area for the bar and restaurant. The sunbeds are €5 each (summer '22) and you get them for the whole day along with an umbrella. You then get waitress service at your sunbed where you can order drinks and also food from the bar restaurant. Staff are friendly and helpful. The bar area during the day is very nicely done with good decor and a relaxed atmosphere there is a good amount of shade also. As others have said, there is a live DJ who starts at about 11am which is fine but it can be overwhelmingly loud when you 're eating lunch a couple of points off for that for me although I 'm sure some people like it. The food on the lunch menu is good and the staff are nice and helpful. It can get busy but I 'd recommend the place for a relaxing day by the sea and a good lunch. Best to get there early or reserve a sunbed the day before.

A wonderful place close to downtown with a good vibes. The small details in the decoration is just amazing. Food is good with okay prices many vegan and vegetarian options . The only thing that didn't make sense to me is that we had to pay extra money to get sunbeds after having breakfast. We expected them to be included if you are a customer from the restaurant.

Lovely setting. Drinks were very watered down and didn't receive waiter service for the whole time we were there until the last hour when they realised we were from the beach and hadn't been served. Even from then I was passed from person to person until I got a drink. Music was quite repetitive and location was a bit out of the way to walk to.

Such a shame... The atmosphere is great, a pretty location at a windmill with nice decorations. Good music playing (recorded DJ set). However... The staff pay more attention to each other, taking shots, and (looks/feels like) making fun of guests, instead of doing their actual job. We just sat there for half an hour with empty glasses, so we left. After paying of course, this place is not cheap by the way. Again, it's a shame, since it really could be a great experience.
