The restaurant was quite busy when we arrived but we managed to get a table. It's very popular with locals and that is a really good sign. We ordered a pork dish, rice and a green leaf vegetable which looked like spinach. All were excellent, especially the green veg. Service was quick and the dishes were hot and freshly cooked. Being a Chinese run restaurant they serve beer and the meal with one large Singha beer was 60 MYR.
Locals are lining up for what is billed as the best Bah Kut Teh in town and I can see why! The food was excellent and service efficient!
They got decent tasting bah kut teh. Herbal soup is rich and has good flavour. Not enough pork though. Pull tea was nice
Delicious dry and herbal broth bah kut teh and laksa in this no frills popular Chinese restaurant in Gaya Street.
