The place can accomodate lots of people, however the parking was limited. The service is good and the food items are tasty. Prices are decent. Good place to visit in both large and small groups.
A unique restaurant with excellent ambiance. We reached there by 1 pm, and we planned to order something special because they have a huge menu, unfortunately none of the items are available as per the menu except chattichoru and biriyani. Therefore we ordered pothi briyani, but taste-wise, it was not good ; it was very juicy and overcooked. and the chicken we got from the biriyani one piece was fried and another was juicy. Totaly the food was not up to their standards.
Food was decent. Customer service is good. Interiors and the kozhikodan vibe in this restaurant is unbeatable. Might go back for the experience. The starters that we had were amazing (dragon chicken and gobi chilli).
Roadside eatery with lovely interiors, this restaurant is hard to miss. Very spacious and can accomodate large families. Tried the chicken clear soup, nadan beef curry, chicken 65, tender coconut shake and nadan coffee. Everything was really tasty! The parotta was soft and flaky and pathiri was fine and tasted real good. A must try if your travelling via Kottayam. Good service and parking space. Cash, card and gpay is available. Highly recommended!
I recently visited a restaurant with a retro-style ambiance, and I have to say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt transported back in time to a simpler era. It is Aadaminte Chaayakkada, Kottayam, Near Karithas. The decor was charming and perfectly captured the essence of the 1980s, with vintage advts name boards and memorabilia adorning the walls. The entire dining area as well as waiting area is in in retro style , adding to the overall vibe of the place. Old TVs, Radios, scooter , Jeep etc etc... available in the entrance area itself. But the real star of the show was the food. The menu was full of classic diner fare, and lots of funny names for the dishes. What really impressed me, though, was the attention to detail. The cash counter, Tea counter and the tables were vintage-style. Though I don't have an opportunity to dine in, used option for take away. The Malabar style Biriyani made in Kaima rice with 2 pieces of fried chicken was awesome. If they have an option for dum biryani, it would have been more delicious for me. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fun and delicious dining experience. Whether you're a fan of retro style or just love great food, this place is sure to please.
