Maybe it's a certificate for the strength of the HK-Veggie scene that my parents at a place I thought was pretty good. I look forward to tasting more from the city.
I ate here tonight. not complaining of me. I sat on a table with a French guy who said he went to this place quite regularly. he said the lady who served me is the member of the waiting staff who speaks best English. she was certainly more than able to compensate for my still sub-abysmal cantonese. the menu is English and Chinese. I ordered a court, the 1st court listed in the a la carte section. it was called something like mixed veggies deluxe. the lady told me that there were many different mushrooms in there and a baby-sweet horn. I asked her to skip to the baby-sweet horn (I'm tired enough to say my friends). it was really very nice and I wouldn't have thought about exaggerating it to others. it costs $75. no problems with decor, service, vibe or otherwise something. location is approx. 1/2 away between outtin and jordan mtr station (exit a for both). when they get out on the jordan a turn right along the jordan road. they must cross the jordan road, as the restaurant is on the other side of the road.
An institution! very busy very popular. when I say hong kong Chinese friends that I am vegan, this is often the place they mention as where their great parents families they for their first veggy meal on special days. very wide menu with many vegan options. very good for tomorrow afternoon tee a dim-sum!
