Resto Cremerie Au Fermier - Kpalime

While we were visiting Kpalime we decided to try a Pizza Restaurant we had heard about from some friends. Since the place is on Google Maps it was easy for us to find it. We parked outside the restaurant and walked in. The front room was small but the hostess led us to the back where it was roomier and had more tables. When we were seated she turned on a fan for us. That was when we heard them chopping wood for the fire to bake the pizza’s. I thought it might take a long time. But before they had the fire ready the pizzas were there waiting. The one had a raw egg in the centre. We watched while they got the fire hot enough. Just before the cook slipped them into the fire he reached out quickly with a utensil and popped the yolk on the egg. While they were sitting and waiting to cook they were covered so flies didn’t sit on them. They sure tasted good! Especially the one called Volcano. We asked them not to make it too spicy and to leave off the olives. It came just as we had ordered. Our places were set with forks, knives, napkins and cups. They did not give us each a plate. They were friendly and did not seem to mind at all if we watched them get the food ready. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for pizza cooked with a wood fire. I hope to get back here some time and try the other pizzas.

The pizzas are very good for a developing country. Service is typical togo. I find a good place for a pizza. No place to wake up a girl.

They fired the pizza oven for us, even if it was lunch. And the pizzas were sooo good!!

To me, the best place to have a relaxed evening in this town. Sure, there are more happening places, particularly on the weekend. But this place is special.
