Irish Pub Pod Papugami - Krakow

Popped in for a Guinness on a Sunday afternoon. I couldn't ask for more. The staff was friendly. They had a good selection of beer on tap. It looked like they had a good selection of bar food as well. If you're looking for an Irish bar in Kraków, this is it!

Because I was living abroad for so many years, when I came back I decided to visit places where in my teens and early twenties I had my time : Here is the place that did not loose anything at all from its atmosphere. I had my first drink whatsoever in there and it was Blue Curacao on ice : Later all changed dramatically but the place has really great flow and is located in beautiful area. After living so long under Brits roof : for me place bringing many memories and I can cherish the time having my pint of Guinness with black currant only in there...

My husband and I have been coming to this bar for several years and used to really enjoy a draft Murphy 's and Guinness at a local Polish price and hospitality. During our last visit two days ago, my husband and I were charged a zakgast fee, in addition to our beer charge, plus a tax we have never seen before. Two beers were 28 Zloty! When I questioned the additional charges, I was told that was what the charge for their service is. TOURISTS BEWARE! Snarky service and over-priced drinks! We hope this is not where our beloved Poland is heading.

Beautiful place and nice staff
