Been in Alpbach many times and tried most restaurants. but we were never in the Albacherhof We had our meal on the terrace, which offers a breathtaking view over the valley. It's a seven course meal, but I and my wife are not big eaters... so tight to three. The salad bar was the first class to have a second visit. We followed with lamb and spinach dumplings. The deserts were also great. Topped by a bottle of local white wine Our waiter Lucas was most helpful as the young girls served at tables. Everything in a beautiful night

We have been travelling to Alpbach at least once a year for the last couple of years, but up until this summer we had never paid a visit to the restaurant at Alpbacherhof. If we hadn't missed to read the other reviews on Tripadvisor, we...would have saved us ten boring minutes standing ignored in the middle of a restaurant (to be honest, one of the waiters said something that may have been a greeting, but then continued to actively ignore us). The waiters only seemed to pay attention to the guests staying at the hotel. After getting tired of waiving at people who don't seem to want your presence we went over to Restaurant Berghof where they truly welcome you as a guest.

We visited here to use the day spa. The outdoor pool was really special. Also the sauna (separate building, could easily miss it) beautiful views up to the snow capped Alps through the windows in the sauna. The relaxation room is truly amazing, big windows...with views out to the mountains, the swing beds were my favourite.

We ate in the restaurant during our stay at the hotel. We enjoyed the dishes that had a tendency to healthy foods. The restaurant offers fine drinks, including a good selection of wines and beer. There is a large terrace where you can eat while looking at the magnificent views of the Alps. The service and the atmosphere were also great with taste of the mountain climate.
