Feedback gevenWe had a family event with 30 people at Claashaeuschen. Everything was perfect. The menu was great, the wines were good and champagne reception was great too. It couldn't have been better. We only got positive feedback from our guests.
As I am writing this I am sitting in this restaurant and just ordered my dinner and already planning on giving this restaurant a 5 star rating. I feel right at home with nice music playing on the background and having the feeling that the food will be great. Just now the lady serving my table serves some bread with olive oil with salt. The bread is very fresh like it is bake just a minute ago (just not warm anymore) and combines greatly with the olive oil. Still living up to the expectations... Now I will await my Kalbshufte mit Rotweinchalottejus ... Just ate my Kalbshufte and it was as expected!!! Nothing stands in the way anymore for the 5 points so here we go!!! The location is not near the center of Leverkusen but it is very worth the drive. I will certainly eat here the next time and the next time and so on...
This was my second visit to this establishment – this time with family – a group of 8 of us covering three generations. I had booked in advance as I knew that some of us would want to eat roast goose – something that many other local restaurants only serve from St. Martin’s day on 11th November. It was a glorious Sunday afternoon and the place was packed – nevertheless our table in a window alcove was waiting for us (despite our being a little late). As last time, the same young waiter came with a blackboard with the special of the day chalked up. This is useful because it is true to say that the standard menu is rather thin. We all made our different choices – including, for the main course the roast leg of goose with red cabbage and potato dumplings (Klösse). As a starter three of us chose a blue cheese/salad starter with grapes which came with a delicious dressing – pity that it wasn’t a little bigger considering the price we paid for it. But in general everybody seemed happy with their first and main courses and still had room for a range of desserts including crème caramel – served up in three tiny pots per person rather than one big dish as they couldn’t get the base to set in time. I had the espresso with panna cotta again which promptly got swopped with one of the tiny pots of crème caramel. Only one of us was drinking house white wine (Riesling) and the rest got through Kölsch, coke and fizzy bottled water. Disappointingly we didn’t get offered any final digestif on the house like during my last visit despite a bill in excess of 240 Euro. Maybe my mistake was to go to the bar to settle the bill away from the rest of our family grouping. Never mind.
We could sit very comfortably on the terrace. The service was good and the staff trained. In addition, all were well-launted and sprinkled. So there was a good mood. The food was also very good, albeit at a price. Fish and meat were prepared on the spot. We're planning another visit.
Mega delicious food, pleasant ambience, friendly service . In addition, the palate is always surprised with changing daily specials.
