Cosy Corner Cafe and Shop - KRONKUP

Extremely disappointed with our visit last weekend.Upon entering venue older waitress lady approached us with absolute angst on her face and once we told her we had a booking she "sighhhhed" and told us "Well your just gonna have to wait your turn" !! Extremely slow service with no effort to bring us menu's, glasses for our byo wine or drinks for young adults in our group. Told to sit down by abrupt coffee lady when we approached counter to give our order as we had no clue if it was table service,Meals took and extremely long time to arrive... approx. 45min .... nice meal but nothing outstanding..Coffee and cake orders were another 30min wait and by that time we were ready to walk out.Not too pleased with the cleanliness of the premises, toilet was absolutely appalling, restaurant floor seemed to be covered in sand under foot.Considering the Café seemed to have a good following (even though prices are quite high), we were extremely disappointed and as locals we will not be visiting again ...

My wife and I had occasion to drop by the renowned Cosy Corner Cafe and shop this morning and were given a "treat" of one of the WORST customer service experiences ever encountered!Standing at the front counter we were going to order coffee and were uncertain as to whether we would have a croissant or something else to eat with our coffee We interacted with none other than the MANAGER/Owner(?) who was impatient, curt and ultimately RUDE to the both of us when we asked 2 or 3 questions to clarify strength of coffee, what sort of croissants were available and ultimately, she seemed to lose it completely when I asked her what preserves with the toast there were!!The escalation in her being short, curt and then very rude drew an assertive response from myself that then saw her rip up the order in front of us and then asked us to leave!! I am usually very tolerant of average displays of customer service but this woman "takes the cake" as one of the worst ; she is past her use by date and should retire immediately!An amazing contrast to the beauty of the area and the supposed past excellent reputation the place has ...

Our group of 6 rode in on our horses for lunch. We were happily received and tied our horses to the many trees. The menu suited all our tastes and the portion sizes satisfied the hungriest amongst us.

Lovely friendly staff. Lovely food. Can eat inside or out. Ranging from dine in breakfasts to take away. Suit a range of tastes. Some Local produce sold as well.

Will keep it brief. We come here often with friends who stay with us in Denmark and are always sure that the meal ( or just for a coffee) will be worth the drive over.It always is.Their menu and standard never changes. Oh! and the service and laughs from the ladies too.
