Mai 2014 is already before some weeks that we stayed a few days in the opposite order even partenkirchen, but this restaurant was our absolute favourite place that we visited on two days in succession, so enthusiastic we were visiting our first visit. we came here by the way. in the evening we looked for a cozy restaurant with local kitchen in the opposite to garmisch partenkirchen and drove in the direction of the forest center. unfortunately the weather was too indefinite to run from the dörflealm to the gschwandnerbauer. already on the way to the middle of the forest we had noticed this locally to the left of the road, but only we wanted a view of the middle forest and the karwendel mountain which gave the clouds temporarily free this alpenpanorama. the icy healers had to thank that snow covered the pists. when we spontaneously found nothing in the midst of the forest, what was said to us, we drove back. that had already been made a very good impression on the outside, some vehicles were standing. when we entered, we were kindly greeted and could choose one of us wisely. immediately we received the card and our drinks were already accepted. the map offers deftige good bourgeois and alpine cuisine. at our first visit we chose lamb and kalbshaxe, at the second visit spanferkel and cursed. the flesh was tender and juicy everyone and the crust was as crispy as we never experienced. we are now in the game when we think about the cozy evenings. the separately served supplements to the respective dressed perfection the lucullic pleasure. in the middle of the forest there was also a delicious and suffocated beer. cozy the alpine environment as well as a very friendly and careless service in the dirndl ensured that we felt absolutely and completely satisfied in the healthy restaurant. gradually the small on the bare strand, which through juicy green meadows between girlanden and middle forest, past the road. pure alpenidyll. : the price of performance is absolutely harmonious here. the meals were between 10 and 13 € per person. no wonder that we will, of course, return here when we come back to the region! the restaurant is one of our favorites. update mai 2016: this time we wanted not only to dinate here, but also stay overnight to take the location as a hotel. so that we have booked at the end of our stay in the opposite one over the night here. the foods were prepared again excellently. we have a wonderful large room in the first floor with a very muggling wooden skybed, a second bed, small flur and a bathroom with bath and shower, balcony. it was a family room for 4 people we decided on two. we decided spontaneously for the cozy bed with the bethliner, whose matratze turned out to be uninhabited at night. also otherwise, unfortunately we have a few smaller mängel a little scratched, like zigarettenrauch, who entered through a window scorching, two small dead insects in the bathroom, which I quickly removed with the help of toilet paper. a view of the room by the staff in front of the room would have helped to avoid this. a pretty terrible rushed us as a very vigilant **** dog sat right in front of the bathroom window when we opened it. when I know myself with dogs, especially with sheep, I knew that any false movement would call the watchful, very sceptical three looking dog on the plan. so we talked to the dog well, but he looked at us completely intangible and did not read out of the sight. then I quickly closed the window when a movement came into the dog and this cuff we bare just in time. he would have jumped through the window and set us up. who reminded me of the accompaniment with the brain dog of a well-known who put me on the farm of the dog, because he probably had something confused. Shortly before the oyster we were here on a beautiful Sunday and have eaten at lunchtime. on the sunny side a beautiful rustic terrace with views of the karwendel mountains, whose peaks were still snow covered. for this we had more than 20 degrees in the valley. in the adjacent beer garden there is a large adventurous playground for the children who are also happy to be used. in summer there is also a meadow with horses and other animals. there is also a court business here. it is located on the spacious parking space in the hotel. we had lammhüftsteak, pink fried, with mushroom cream and fresh made swiss rösti and half a built with blue herb and knödeln. freshly tapped Augustiner beer, the best beer in bayern! all very good! prices are in order! to make the fairer, much more difficult, there were still nusseis (ideal of mövenpick! with eierlikör. we tried to photograph the playground. he's a little behind him. we also photographed our charming operational maria, which wore a silky soul. who comes here automatically on the way to Italy or Austria and should plan his break here!

On a Saturday in the middle of the day, the weekends are blown in here. it was just a table free. we recommended the 1/2 duck with blue weed and we agreed spontaneously. it was a tasteful top boom: super soft, red crispy crust and the blue herb very well tasted. alone a dumpling seemed a little different in color and taste (can be from the eve? but was not world-wide. on the map all favourite dishes of the German seem to be concentrated. they could eat the card up and down. we will probably do that too, because we felt comfortable here. nice service, sympathetic guests, good kitchen all very solid! until soon.

In comparison with what we had been offered in the last hotels, breakfast was also rather sweet. The number of rolls was allocated, some of them were packaged in portions. For the hotel performance, I can therefore easily forgive only 3 stars, so that I have on a total of 4 constellations rounded off the previous 5 which I have given taking into account only the gastronomic performance. Conclusion: I would go to dinner again and again, but I would not want to spend a longer holiday here. That is why I feel too restless. But it was okay for an overnight stay.
