Sahara Tent - Kuala Lumpur

A nice, warm and friendly place for middle eastern cuisine. Decorated classily, priced a little above average; the sahara tent is a little above average treat for your tastebuds in kuala lumpur if you are bored with malaysian food. Firstly, we ordered hummus. It came along with a big tandoori roti. I felt the hummus was oiled too much and the salt-garlic was less. The roti was soft and warm, not chewy n cold. It was enjoyable. Then we ordered Arayees. The minced meat was less in proportion to the roti. The meat was less seasoned as well. I’d give a 3 and a half star for the food and 4 stars for the ambience.

Nice environment and good food but it is kind of pricey when compared with other restaurants in the area. I like the open balcony area for a night out.

Good selection of middle eastern cuisine. My personal favorites are Lah-Mah Bel Tomato, Bathenjan Kozi. Nice middle eastern ambiance too.
