Shinmapo Korean Bbq (the Gardens Mall, Kl)

General portions of groundless secondary dishes, expensive, but great service. Meat is well marinated. Kimchi pancake is good, but a little oily. All in all a happy visit

I eat 5 stars for the service my boy gave, the food is Aight, but his service is amazing. My boy Gerard gave us his time and patience and gently explained the steps to eat the meat and change our plates and full of class A service in full smile and humility. No server in my life took my attention as much as Gerard. And he is also new! Kudos to his service Shout him out and show him some love next time u dine here. Amazing Gerard.

The Gerard server was so nice and patient. He helped us cook the meat, explained the different parts of the meat and made sure that our secondary dishes are refilled when we asked. It was great.

Their bbq is recommended. Fried rice is delicious yet seafood pancake is crispy. However their kimchi jigae is so normal and not recommended. Personally hoping that their side dishes could have some improvements. I saw the reviews saying their service is very bad, but for me is okay.
