The restaurant ambience is really nice and we saw a lots of Japanese customer so you can tell how “local” they are Definitely will try again in future but remember to do reservations as their seats are quite limited also. Overall experience is good
First the Japanese couple there are not husband and wife . Chef still looking for girlfriend.. Noticed that if there is a pretty girl, he'll keep looking. Or you're with a pretty girl, he'll ignore you and focus on her which is very unprofessional. . The food is amazingly good and service is great. Prices are reasonable for the food they sent. Had the set menu for May. Wasn't that good this time. Better to go with ala carte
Hidden Gem for me to discover Yoshinari Japanese Restaurant which was around here since 2016 with 3 outlets in Shibuya Japan. Impressed with the chef and his September Autumn tasting menu. Chef was friendly and engaging. Simple, tasty, flavorful using the freshest local produce in our markets except the sashimi from Japan for a yummylicious value for money meal. Small, cozy with an open kitchen concept, warm colors add ti the ambience. Service crew are friendly and engaging. Reservations are encourage. Oishii!!
Casual no frills restaurant run by a husband and wife team. Expect wholesome simple Japanese fare cooked with decent ingredients and lightly seasoned. Something you would get at your typical neighbourhood Japanese restaurant I suppose. Do not expect omakase like courses similar to those found at upmarket sushi restaurants. Expect service to be slow and patchy due to lack of staff. Also expect delays in your courses as everything is cooked in batches.
From my dinning experience it is definitely a pretty good place for a Japanese meal. They have your salmon and sashimi and even some fried food options for people who are not up for the raw fishes. Occasionally they have their omake style (mystery chef set) which you can surprise yourself.
