We ordered two types of noodles - curry noodles and herbal noodles, both of which were delicious. The fried dumplings were a bit too greasy for my liking. I requested kueh teow and no milk in my curry noodles, as this is a vegetarian restaurant. They assured me that they do not use eggs in their kitchen and can accommodate requests to omit milk. It's not clearly labeled, so make sure to check if they cater to vegans.
I recently visited the Natural Vegetarian restaurant in Sri Hartamas and was slightly disappointed. I had high expectations after experiencing their excellent Bangsar branch. Unfortunately, the Sri Hartamas branch does not offer dim sum and the ambiance of the restaurant is lacking. The dishes were average, but not exceptional. We tried the fried noodles, which were decent, the Japanese mushroom and seaweed pot, which was tasty, and the green sweet, which was underwhelming. It seemed like the chef may have been using less salt for health reasons, resulting in bland flavors, especially with the green vegetables. The service was also subpar, as my request for a lemon tea without sugar was ignored and I received a carbonated iced lemon tea with a high sugar content instead. Overall, these factors left me feeling disappointed.
This beautiful, cozy, and quiet restaurant has an extensive menu, mostly consisting of Chinese dishes. The service is friendly and I have visited twice and would recommend it.
I prefer this location over the one in Bangsar because it doesn't have scary statues. We tried the curry noodles and herbal ramen, both of which were delicious. The fried dumplings were a bit too oily for my taste. I ordered the curry noodles with kueh teow and requested no dairy milk, only santan. This restaurant is vegetarian and doesn't use eggs in their dishes. You can also ask to omit milk, but it's not clearly labeled so make sure to inquire if you're vegan.
I went to the Sri Hartamas location of Nature's Vegetarian and was somewhat let down. I had higher expectations based on my experience at their Bangsar location, which is excellent. Unfortunately, the Sri Hartamas branch did not offer Dim Sum and the restaurant seemed a bit run-down. The dishes were decent, but not exceptional. We tried the fried noodles, which were okay, the Japanese Mushroom and seaweed pot, which was tasty, and the green vegetables, which were bland. It seemed like the chef may have been trying to use less salt and herbs for health reasons, or perhaps the cooking just wasn't up to par. Most disappointingly, the green vegetables were tasteless. The service was also lacking - I asked for unsweetened ice lemon tea, which they confirmed they had, but what I received was a carbonated, sugary ice lemon tea from a can. Overall, these factors combined to leave me feeling somewhat underwhelmed.
