It's been ages since I was last here (almost a decade). Used to have Char Sui rice lunch, which it's stall is renowned. However, I heard it's morning porridge is good. It's googy like Cantonese Chook. The basic RM5 one we have consists of just pork meatballs generous amount . Comes with accompanying fried fritters. If you appreciate this type of porridge, they're great! Its most expensive the Works goes up to RM8.
The Sarawak Laksa is quite nice, taste is decent at RM7 per bowl (special). Kolo mee was commendable moist and flavorful, without too much of the oily aftertaste. Barbecued meat as pictured was slightly disappointing, not much flavour and was a bit dry. The bad part of this cafe was cleanliness there was a dead cockroach right underneath our chairs. I guess that's what you'd expect from a B class kopitiam. Nevertheless, a good place for decent breakfast in the heart of Kuching golden triangle.
Affordable and delicious. Not much of waiting even if all tables are almost full. drinks waitress can improve attitude a bit la. maybe she's having a bad time, that explains the moody face.
Simply one of the best traditional breakfast shops in kuching. all stands are one must try.
