Dinehut - Kurunegala

Located on the main road in Kurunegala, this restaurant is spacious with a good ambiance. The food was delicious, and my colleagues agreed that the chicken was superior to KFC's.

We stopped for lunch on our way up north. The restaurant had a spacious dining area with plenty of seating available. When we asked for a recommendation, the server suggested the chop suey dish. It was definitely worth the price, as it was a large portion filled with rice, beef, chicken, prawns, and a variety of vegetables like cabbage, baby corn, and mushrooms. Our group consisted of four adults and a child, and we weren't able to finish all of the food. The drinks we ordered were also refreshing and tasty, including mango juice, lime and soda, and lime and mint. The wait time from ordering to receiving our food was reasonable. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and we would definitely return.

The food at this restaurant did not justify the prices, the staff were poor in terms of service, and the portion sizes were insufficient for the number of people in our group. I have no intention of returning to this establishment. I fail to understand how others consider it to be very good when my experience was far from it.

Went for a late lunch. Selected this place for their halal food. Chicken Nasi gurang was very oily with few traces of chicken pieces. Had a submarine and chicken burger. Both had came with fluffy fries, even my 6 year old kid didn't want eat them. Will not go for another time.
