The croissant was delicious sweet but in my opinion, not too sweet, a good dusting of icing powder and almonds along with a chocolate centre that gets molten when reheated. Honestly quite indistinguishable from the other fancy artisan places that charge $8 for a similar croissant.<br/ <br/ In terms of ambience, personally I think the layout could be improved. The tables there are all pushed against the walls with a large open space in the middle, which does not give it a very cosy feeling. Breaking up the space would help.<br/ <br/ Worth a try for some good pastries and baked goods.
Nice atmosphere. Food was good. Service was good. 2min from our appartment so very convenient. Very enjoyable breakfast, the waffles were so good
Nice little cafe which makes freshly baked baguettes
Popped in for a sweet treat and I am pleased to confirm despite some less than favourable reviews on here it really did satiate the tastebuds. The macarons were divine and the chocolate dessert rich and indulgent. The larger cakes also looked quite stunning and would be perfect for a birthday or sharing occasion. A little bit of Parisian deliciousness in Southbank
Great cake, medium sandwiches, poor coffee. The staff who makes coffee keep changing all the time, I would rate the coffee served over there is below melbourne average but above McDonald, unfortunately. Environment is ok for a short talk, but not that kind of place you want to spend for morning.
