Feedback gevenThis location needs some serious rework. I placed an online order that said it would be ready by 12:02pm. I arrive at the store at 12:05pm, and it?s not ready. They are busy, no big deal so I decide to wait. 45 minutes of watching person after person enter, go through the line, and get their food with no online orders getting done passes. At this point, I decide to go through the line just to cancel my order. The cashier lets me know it can?t be cancelled but they can start working on the order now. Why did I have to go through the line for them to start working on my order? I understand being understaffed and appreciate the cashier?s remorse, but it took an hour for me to get my food when I could?ve had it within 10 minutes if I hadn?t ordered online. Management needs to turn off the online ordering feature or allow online orders to be cancelled because they obviously don?t know how to handle it.
I work in the area and usually order from here on the weekends I work. I used the app today and placed an order at 1:07 pm for pickup at 1:45 pm. I got there around 1:50, traffic from Antioch was a little heavy. No sandwich was made. The girl asked me for my name, when I told her she looked at the other employee and said I guess we should have made that order. So now I wait for 10 minutes while they take their time fixing sandwiches for the people in line, before she starts on mine. So I get my own drink and chips while they slap together my sandwich. Needless to say I was 5 minutes late to work. I 'm upset because the same thing happened 3 weeks ago. Almost exactly the same thing. So I guess I shouldn 't use that store or stop using the app to order ahead. It 's a shame because it 's so close to work. P.S. In fairness to this store I wanted to update this review. I tried the store in Nashboro and apparently they also don 't get the idea of preordering through the app. I had the same issue there, but the girl stopped what she was doing and made my sandwich. Maybe it 's just a Jersey Mike thing.
They would get a 4 star review if they solved one important issue. AC vents above the ingredients have black mold or mildew and I watched it drop on the bacon. There are three vents directly over the food. They are above the bacon, meat slicing, and veggies. When I pointed it out to the staff they just looked at me and said it was fine.
The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is for the amazing sub. The customer service was lacking in every way possible. Don?t ask what kind of sub Sauces they have or they will bite your heat off. They were the rudest people I have ever been served by.
This Jersey Mike's gets pretty busy. There are a lot of trades that work in the surrounding area. Lots of people do online ordering. This location is usually really clean. Bathroom included! The parking situation isn't terrible, there's a big free lot across the street. Even though they're busy it usually moves at a pretty good pace so wait times are sub 10 minutes. I have steered away from the bacon, it's been pretty hard the past few times even though I think they cook it fresh.
