I went in for lunch, and they did serve very well for $10.Not a good ambience with a around 3 not-so-clean tables, but a kind and attentive staff.Got a noodles with around 3 curries and curry chicken. The seasoning was done right and tasted everything like srilankan food. I wish they served plain/red rice too to match an exact Lankan meal, but this was good too.I'd recommend this for a take out spot!
Tried here for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised. Small lunch box is really quite big, you take it and fill it yourself with your choices. Meat dishes were a little greasy but super flavourful very tender. The vegetable dishes were wonderful and quite healthy, there was a lot of variety to choose from. The chutneys coconut sambal were great to cut through the richness. Rice was fluffy flavourful. Was very happy to see eco friendly takeaway boxes. The lady serving was friendly welcoming. I’m pretty impressed, I would definitely come back again.
Best Sri Lankan food in Melbourne! The food is not only delicious but is pocket friendly as well. Been here several times and I can confidently say that all the dishes are worth trying. Highly recommended! <br/
I had lunch here and wow! The Sri-Lankan curry was great, I had some lamb curry, lentil curry and a range of other goodies on my plate.<br/ <br/ The papadums were great, really light and crispy. And the mango chutney was sooo good that I could have eaten that by the spoonful hahahaha <br/ <br/ Happy days. It’s great to have finally found a really good curry place in the city! Yay lol
The food was amazing. To me the best Sri Lankan take away I had in Melbourne CBD. Taste, pretty much like home style Sri Lankan food. Nice place to sit and eat too. Highly recommended!!
