Took around 8 mins for the waiter to give us menus and the wait time for the dishes was longer than usual as it was a busy night with several other large tables. It was a bit disturbing to see an ant on the dish after we finished the prawn crackers though. Taste of both claytpots where very nice, flavours as I like them to be and the two of us finished all of course we were super full. Had water melon and dessert to finish off with. Generally flavours of dishes is very good here, service today was not as good though.
The last time I came here was many years ago and then the yum cha was ok but not excellent. The place was fairly unclean and a little run down.I went back today for yum cha and the improvements are outstanding: very busy but clean, pleasant ambience, prompt and kind service and really nice food, with a proper variety. I was certainly impressed and I will go back very soon. I would advise to book, to avoid queing for a while.
We love coming here for yum Cha and dinner. The manager ban is an absolute legend. Always really friendly and one of the main reasons we always come back
Great food. Very authentic Chinese hotpot. The staff are very nice too. Will def revisit.
New Royal Garden(ChuanXiBaZi) had transformed from Yum-Cha dumplings into Chinese Hot Pot (Original West Sichuan cuisine). Highlight recommendations are Wagyu beef, own-brand wine(Chuan Xi Xiao Jiu), deep fried pork, lamb, fresh bean curd, yummy Royal Vegetable and iced herbal drinks.
