Oakleigh Fish Chippery - Kurunjang

Stopped in for lunch and had grilled barramundi and brown rice.  Really nice and fresh and reasonably priced.  Friendly staff, great to see healthy options available for sides.   Decor is modern and casual.   Will most certainly go back and would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for good quality food, price and service.

Super crunchy chips. Fish, calamari and prawns are well cooked. Service is good. Sit in set up is great. They have salt, plastic cutlery , serviettes and individual hand wipes on the table. Value for money!

The chips are sooo good here! I think they use a good quality oil and they are attentive to the crisp factor. The potato cakes are some of the best I've had. My only criticism is the one time I ordered a chicken souvlaki, the chicken had lots of grizzly bits. Definitely order their fish and chippies.

Next to the best gyros in Oakleigh, is the best fish and chippery in the area. From the minute you walk in you get a taste of what you are about to receive, FRESH fish and chips done right! Light crispy batter, on point seasoning. The people behind the counter are friendly and courteous, good old customer service. This place is super popular get in early. Highly recommended!

My sister and I popped in late for an order on a public holiday and we were thankful that they were open. It was busy with maybe a 30ish minute wait but we expected that.We ordered for the family and picked up some grilled and battered flame, potato cakes, two burgers and some chips. The fish and chips were great but the potato cake could've been crispier. My dad enjoyed his burger but looking at it they were quite plain. Although, I'm pretty sure this is how they're advertised. I would come back hopefully during a less busy time period.
