Poacher Hound - Kurunjang

Good cafe in an unsuspecting location. Service was good, warm welcome and we were provided appropriate time for drink/food selection. Nice ambience, good background music and well spaced area. Coffees were good. Food was also good. Ordered the beef burger and the special fried chicken burger, both well executed. Good spot for a lunch/brunch outing.

Went on a cycling trip in the early morning to brunch at Poacher Hound mount Waverly) and meet up with some of the best melbourne Foodies   the place is in an industrial area , great lunch spot if you work around , this is a spacious cafe with a good atmosphere,  the staff is Lovely and the Coffee Machine is GORGEOUS haha  …

I finally had the chance to try Poacher Hound thanks to winning a brunch meal valued up to $50 from melbfoodbaby's competition. The cafe was very easy to find it is located near office buildings and warehouses. Parking was ample and we easily got a table for two at 10am on a weekday. I had the Egg Mistress, which was a generous and hearty dish which I thoroughly enjoyed. The cheesy potato puree was a standout for me! My friend had the Crab Corn Omelette, which looked delicious too. It would be great to see Poacher Hound expanding their menu for customers to have a wider range of food to choose from. Staff were friendly service was great too :

Poacher and Hound is located in an area where there are warehouses and offices rather than shopping strips. The design of the building is sleek and sophisticated, matching the nearby offices. It has been on my go-to list, and luckily I won the instagram competition hosted by melbfoodbaby for a free brunch valued at $50.
