Silks - Kurunjang

Silks is a stunning restaurant located in Crown Casino with a picturesque view of the Yarra River. If you enjoy Chinese cuisine, this place is a must-visit. The food is not only delicious but also authentically prepared, enhanced by the use of fresh ingredients. Dining here is always a delightful experience, and despite the prices, I assure you, it’s worth every penny!

Excellent Chinese cuisine paired with a stunning view! The high ceilings and large windows created a fantastic open ambiance with breathtaking views of the Yarra River. I had a wonderful dining experience, thanks to the friendly and attentive staff. The cocktail menu is quite impressive, with so many options I wanted to sample. A standout dish was definitely the trio of dumplings, especially the scallop dumpling. The sautéed lobster with egg was unique and flavorful, and I also loved the Peking duck, which was incredibly tender. Thank you for such a delightful experience!

Next came the honey mustard crispy pork and marinated BBQ octopus; both dishes were enjoyable, though it's worth noting that the octopus is served cold and the pork is lukewarm. The real stars of the meal for me were the main courses: the black Angus tenderloin with sautéed spinach in black bean sauce and the scallops wrapped in prawn mince. The beef was cooked to perfection, with the black bean sauce not being too overpowering. The scallops were simply delightful and are a must-try. We ended the meal with a classic banana fritter, which was a nice touch, and the Piero SSB paired well with our dishes. Overall, it's a fantastic spot for a leisurely lunch or dinner, particularly with a view of the Yarra from Level 1.

Easy booking online and was fully booked. There was sessions about 6pm for 2 hours. <br/ <br/ The serving was sensational and very professional. <br/ <br/ The atmosphere is what you feel from the movie “crazy rich Asians”. <br/ <br/ The barramundi was fresh. Peking Duck was a bit average. Over all a great experience . Meals were expensive cost about $300 for 4 dishes.

I loved eating at this place. Had 100% quality table service, along with great asian food for yum cha. Kudos to the waiter who kept refilling my water before I drunk it all. I highly recommend, my favourite dish was the chicken siu mai dumplings or the served vegetables.
