New menu new revamped bistro... The risotto is amazing the service is lovely prices fantastic location a hop skip and a jump and finally PIZZA that is mouth watering and authentic. seriously. It is as good as lygon street pizza.. The only place my husband asks each week 'want to go the local? ' Ive lived in the area from birth and to date the best local bistro in town. Only downside kids entertainment is a bit poor. they need some tables and chairs or blocks for you ger children got rid of the lego and my son was bored after 1min.

Went to the SOC after family had organised our catch up to be there. I never really hold out too much hope for the food in a place like this but we were very pleasantly surprised. It wasn't very busy so I don't know if that was a factor but 2 of us ordered the risotto which was lovely, one ordered the livers and he was VERY impressed... Said they were very well cooked. Another had the salmon and said it was cooked to perfection while the others had the fish of the day (which I think was barramundi) and absolutely loved it. Very happy diners!

Held a mid-sized event there recently. Had a few setbacks with planning due to weather, but (new) management were really helpful and accommodating, providing good alternatives and helping us manage food, drinks, decorations, music etc... Function food platters were really good, definitely a step-up from party pies and sausage rolls, and reasonably priced too. Bar staff friendly. We didn't do Barefoot Bowls as it was nearly 40degrees, but the option was there! Would definitely recommend as a function venue, as they're obviously eager to please!

New menu is amazing really well done with the renovations Will be a regular now. Pizzas are off the hook. Please start to deliver or uber eats them. No longer need to drive all the way to lygon st now
