Our personal favourites were the diced beef miso (which was absolutely lovely and tender) and the mixed tempura. We ate SO much for 2 people. The food was amazing, especially with how cheap the all-you-can-eat option is, too cheap for how great the food is here! Even for a Saturday night with great weather, the restaurant was pretty quiet with a few other customers, it was quite pleasant. The service was great too, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself was very aesthetically pleasing too, the walls covered in old style Japanese advertisements and red lanterns lining the roof. We came out very satisfied and happy, will most definitely return to this amazing little food haven! Definitely recommend coming here!
Went here for dinner, it was super good.Ordered lots of food and service was really nice and food super filling. The staff even offered to store birthday cake for us and knife to cut and candles.
Delicious food, small share plates and reasonably priced. Not the best ambiance and staff whilst friendly were a little lost, but worth it for the food which was very tasty. Not the best I’ve had but not the worst...
A very hidden place that’s located in a private lane in the city. With only a hand full of reviews on Zomato and little recognition I can truly say that it is worth going for if you’re craving quick, cheap Japanese buffet. <br/ <br/ Ordered:<br/ Japanese buffet (coupon used $22 for adults <br/ <br/ Review:<br/ Took ages for us to find! When we entered I instantly fell in love with the unique and very traditional decorations. The staff welcomed us with open hands and made fell at home. The food coke at quite a even pace so it wasn’t too quick but there some dishes we still had to pester them with so it was a bit inconvenient for us. With $22 it was too cheap! We could order endless amounts of sashimi, Nigri, fresh cooked prawns, tempura, soba, mussels and SO MUCH MORE. Definitely bring your coupons to get your moneys worth. Although not all of the dishes are top notch the seafood was defiantly fresh, except the tempura prawns and mussels. Tempura prawns were too greasy and the oil they used tasted old. Green lip mussels were icy cold, they couldn’t thawed them some more . But salmon, king dish and tuna was so fresh! Melt in your mouth delicious. Favourite was the squid nigri although the amount of rice was sooo much I loved the creaminess and texture of it. We also takoyaki which was ok but I have to talk about the gyozas, don’t come here for them they are literally bought from coles..I can guarantee it. They’re not made in house and the mushy and thick skinned dumplings tell me. Ice cream was beautiful and the kids loved it (they ordered 4 servings and definitely overdosed on green tea, black sesame and vanilla ice cream . The most shocking thing is that drinks is included in the all you can eat but can only be ordered once (INCLUDING SAKE AND WINE red or white!! . This is probably the cheapest Japanese dinner I’ve ever eaten at, with a limitless supply of fresh, raw seafood... $22 is way too inexpensive. Love love our servers they were interactive and sooooo nice!! Will back thank you Tokyo-ya! <br/ <br/
A little hard to find but a gem worth searching for. The food quality is good and portions were discern. Really good customer service too. This is definitely not the place where buffet lovers will have to be afraid of servers neglecting you just cos you’ve ordered too much. What you see in the menu is what u get- no extra carbos to deter you from eating lesser.
