The fruit compote drink was tasty and refreshing. The restaurant is large and located near the famous fountain. The inside has a warm, family feel and has tons of seating. I believe the name of the restaurant is Baraqa (with a Q instead of a K). Definitely give this place a try! Updated from previous review on 2021-06-17
They was open for take away I want to eat something. I was ask in Russian in English in French even in sign language, she was just e e e ..... She even don 't gave to me the menu when I was looking for it, so I leave hungry and angry
After i told them what vegan means, i was shown about 15 options to choose from. I would go back again just for the mushrooms in clay pot alone! Do note that food is not ready in an instant because it is all made fresh. Worth the few extra minutes wait.
Went in expecting a little quiet place and were greeted by quite an upmarket place. There is an English menu and our waitress spoke amazing English. They have the usual Georgian vegan options as well as a couple of others like a 'pizza for fast ' which comes with vegan mayonnaise. Pretty good.
Strange place with underwhelming and limited vegan options. the restaurant is located next to a busy street and has the atmosphere of a school cafeteria. despite the limited options in kutaisi I would not go back, nor would I go to someone else.
