It’s an old place in the old Mubarakiya market. It’s a traditional male only cafe serving tea in small glasses (estekana) or medium size cup if you request it. Just note that the tea will be full of sugar, you can always ask them not to put sugar in the tea.
It is a tea's and arabian coffee Cafe , there is all kind of tea's here , the place was good for quietness and calming and gathering, the decoration there is vintage. There is no food, only old types of kuwait sweets and cakes , and there is (altaibawy kunafa) mini counter/shop in the corner u can enjoy . The cafe located in the heart of mubarakiya souk, u can go there by walking only , all the avenues are straight and wheelchair accessible, the tea there made on stove, in front of this cafe there is RASHED TEA CAFE , they are professional in tea's, and all their stuffs are made on CHARCOAL, 100% better taste.
Great experience for trying traditional Kuwaiti Tea
It is good to have a short break in souk with tea or cafe with locals.
