Midnight Starling - KYNETON

Absolutely amazing dining experience in Kyneton. Steak Tartare awesome. John Dory even better. Matching wines by the guys made the experience even better. I'm fussy but could not complain about anything. Toilet door's have to be seen to be believed.

One of the very best country restaurants we’ve been to. Beautiful ambiance. Amazing food. Superb service. There is nothing at all one can fault about midnight starling. It’s just beautiful.

Best restaurant experience I've had this year. Food was perfect, great attention to detail in the flavours and presentation. Service could not be faulted, the guys were very friendly attentive. Will definitely be back.

French bistro with prix fixe menu and solid selection of local wines by glass plus some French classics for good measure. Servings are a little small at first glance but the sauces are very rich and with sufficient side dishes you won't go hungry.

Such a good place for a date night. In true french style, the wines were more expensive than the cocktails so we started out with some ... Cocktails ... The atmosphere is trendy, intimate and welcoming. We ordered our 3 course set meal which included steak tartare and mackral for appetisers, steak and pork shoulder for our mains and finished up with chocolate mouse and something Crème Brûlée esk that was all fabulous. Make sure you book as it tends to fill up pretty quickly. Highly recommended, we had a great time!
