The restaurant is in the centre of a small village, but even so, you have to book well ahead. This is partly due to the quality of the food, but I think it may also be due to it seating a maximum of 24 people....The welcome was friendly and the service was quick. The menu is fairly limited, both for food and wine, and the most expensive choice of menu does not detail what you would get! The choice from the a la carte did suit us and we were pleased with our choices. Our favourites were the fish dishes, not surprisingly, as this is right on the Atlantic coast. The only minor criticism would be that there was no deadening of the voices of other diners, so even though the tables were well spaced, one could not help but overhear what was being said at those other tables. Perhaps some music, or curtains or a carpet might help. The restaurant is only open two lunchtimes a week off-season, and a bit more during July and August.
Very good reception service fast, hot and good quality of the dishes a redo
One of the best tables in the country of retz! not to be proud of the discreet facade, it is in the small intimate room with the marine decoration (about 20 covers) that magic operates. She warmly manages reception and service, and excels in the kitchen. menu the artimon for us 2 today: mouth, entrance, fish, banquier trou Normand, meat, cheese and dessert. a succession of tasty, delicious, pure happiness! book more than advised. and don't wait to spend a pleasant time there, the master of the place aspires to a well-deserved retreat.
A long-time restaurant with additions paid at the time by my father. I found them a little dirty, but it was a very good kitchen. must probably align with the prices of the region, the products are always of good quality and the kitchen is sincere. the dishes are simpler and the emotion has disappeared with the “more”. There is still a quality restaurant.
