Feedback gevenOn a short visit to La Bourbolle my wife and I decided to have a bit to eat at Le Mistral. It was following the recommendations on here we choice this venue. The waiter saw us to a nice table on the terrace. In a late August day the sun was so nice to have on the heads! I took a Leffe and the wife G&T whilst we looked through the menu. I opted for a Faux-Fillet and my wife went for Tartiflette Auvergne. For dessert I has Ile Flotant and my wife had Creme brouillé. We also ordered a nice bottle of Landoc Rousillon to accompany it all. I can think of nothing bad to say about any of it. My steak was lovely, piping hot and huge! The same for the ball & chain's Tartiflette. She loved it. It was all good and finished off with coffee. A great dinner at a very reasonable price too. The owner is a great guy, he asked genuine questions and was interested if I could sing any rugby songs! Obviously it is important to sing rugby songs at any opportunity so I gave him a few rounds of Sweet Chariot (given the French stuffed us last Saturday at the stade du France). I highly recommend this place. Great hospitality, food and ale and wine excellent.
We had the menu of the day. The quantities were generous. The quality was ok, except for the dessert which was a little disappointing. Service was friendly.
On holiday we like going out for lunch and found this lovely Bar/Restaurant.
My family ate at this restaurant last night and we loved it. So much choice and the staff were so friendly. The portions were very very generous and we struggled to finish them but we did have room for a dessert! Lovely selection of wines and beers too. This is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and you won't be disappointed!
Went two nights in a row following the children's wishes. They had the same menus both nights and were very pleased. The food was good and plentiful both nights. I had the burger on the first night and entrecôte the second. Both were good.
