La Ferme d'Averdoingt

Saw a sign for this place and out of curiosity looked it up as we were staying nearby. Phoned to make a reservation which was very easy. On arrival we found a lovely restaurant with welcoming staff and we were then blown away by outstanding food. We got the menu of the week and tried both starters and both mains everything was perfect. Couldn’t wait to eat so failed to get any photos of the beautiful food. Had five courses between the two us with a couple glasses of lovely wine. Would definitely recommend if you want high quality French cuisine.

We were impressed by – and delighted to discover – La Ferme d'Averdoingt. We were very nicely welcomed. We went on a cold day and were really comfortable at the table next to the fireplace where the log fire was burning bright and beautiful. The menu was superb. Each dish was original and beautifully cooked, presented and served. The three of us enjoyed the quality of the food immensely. The service was excellent and we couldn't have wished for a better meal altogether. Pricing was very reasonable. The food was the most important element of course. But we appreciated another bonus as two of us came from Calais and one from Brussels. It turned out to be almost half-way for all, easy to find, in a quiet area with a good car park and thus we were spared time and trouble fighting city traffic and parking problems as we had first thought of meeting for lunch in Lille. We were so glad that we followed instead the recommendation for La Ferme d'Averdoingt we were given and grateful for it.

Accueil pro, cuisine correcte mais sans recherche, sans surprise...mais surtout que le service est long. Cela m'a paru plus long que les 35 ans de mariage que nous étions venu fêter.Un anniversaire qui fut une longue attente : pas désagréable mais long.

Un véritable moment de plaisir pour les yeux et les papilles... Une délicatesse dans l'assiette en toute quiétude, le Chef prend le temps de soigner chaque assiette... Prenez le temps de venir découvrir cette belle adresse... Une direction à l'écoute et un service en douceur... Merci à vous... Une belle découverte imprévue!!!

Repas bon mais pas de recherche trop long arrivee a 12h45 servi l entree a 15h etfini a 17h45 nous etions 16 mais le menu etait defini avant tres belle salle du personnel agreable mais pas professionnel
