Comme en Italie - La Ciotat

I ended up here by chance and, craving for a pizza, I step in.The impression is very good, very original and well-kept place, different from the majority of La Ciotat restaurants.The chef is from Naples, the ingredients are fresh and comes from Italy, overall the food is good, although the recipes seem to have a bit of French touch. The pizza anyway is Napoli style, thick and soft.The staff is really nice and friendly, two days after I came back again and had a very good pasta.Much cheeper than average in town.Furthermore, it is the ONLY restaurant in La Ciotat where I could find free wifi!

Being Italian, when I go to a place which has a very strong italian look, and I find out that there are no Italians serving at the restaurant, I start to become suspicious...And when I can get almost nothing with the aperitif - only choiche is a plate of sausages. what if you do not like sausages? .I start to get annojedThen the food (we took gnocchi) is good quality, good ingredients, well served. But it is clearly pre-cooked and just heated into a microwave oven before serving. Totally unacceptable in a real resturant. Reasonable choiche of Italian wines, but the Prosecco is not cold enough.And waiters are unhelpfull, very cold environment despite the coloured tables.

Great quality of actual italian dishes, the staff were really nice and even gave us some clothes as it was so windy. It's in the Vieux Port area, but prices are still OK compared with the tourist traps.

We visited this restaurant last September with our young children. They had a childrens menu which I think was 10 euros. Both our youngest children had the spaghetti bolognese which was really delicious. My eldest daughter shared the truffle gnocchi with me

Very nice people as well. We only had a take away and can Not say anything about the Service but the Pizza is the greatest!
