Canyons At The Crossings At Carlsbad

My experience at the restaurant was pleasant overall. The Sunday champagne brunch buffet was enjoyable, but I wish there had been an eggs benedict station. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating. I would have preferred to sit outside on the west terrace, but it was closed due to a cool breeze. Unfortunately, the view of the ocean and golf course was obstructed by columns. The manager argued that the view from my table was better than the open table I wanted.

The food exceeded expectations! The view is always lovely.

It’s been a while since I dined here. I was unpleasantly surprised to find the dining room looking like a wedding had just been disassembled. If the space has become too large, I suggest using moveable partitions to redefine the space. The food was good, not great. The Reuben could have used more meat.

I always look forward to Friday Night Unwinds at this restaurant. The service and ambiance are excellent! The menu has changed since last year and the prices have increased significantly. It was a bit of a surprise, but we still had a great evening. It's just disappointing that it's now too expensive to enjoy it every Friday night.
