Arrowhead Tap House - La Crosse

When I sat down, I underwent a security check that turned out to be inconsequential. I soon realized that the bar was empty, with no staff available to serve drinks. I handed my luggage over to my companions, which felt like a letdown. After chatting in French with my one-liner friend, I sat down and was quickly cashing out my bill. There’s an endearing older woman here whose warm smile could melt even the harshest critic, despite a menu filled with inconsistencies. As I close my check and pick up a napkin, I can’t help but smile at this place. I look forward to coming back, knowing that this lovely woman will greet me with nothing but a smile on her face.

The restaurant was impressively clean and offered a surprising variety of options for such a small airport. We ordered a round of drinks, a house salad without cheese and croutons, and the battered fish and fries. Everything was delicious and was served promptly.
