Big Al's Pizzeria - La Crosse

This is a fantastic spot for a big slice of pizza! I give it 5 stars. The flavors and spices are truly exceptional, and the crust is both soft and crunchy. Polito's Pizza really stands out among the rest.

I've returned several times since my initial three-star review, and I must say the food has been amazing. The service has also improved significantly; it's much quieter now, and the service is quicker.

I ordered the wings, and they were delicious. They were perfectly cooked, and while the spicy sauce had a nice flavor, it could have been a bit spicier. The thin-crust pizza was also tasty. The staff was fantastic, and the service was quick!

With a variety of crust options (sourdough is my personal favorite) and an excellent selection of toppings, you're bound to enjoy one or two pizzas here. I’ve been dining at Big Al’s for the past 30 years, and the friendly and fun service has never wavered. Although the ownership changed a few years ago, the welcoming atmosphere and quality of the food have remained consistent. If you happen to be in the downtown area, I recommend stopping by for a drink and a meal. They offer a solid menu, but don't forget — pizza is the star at Big Al's!
