What an odd experience we had here. Took 15 mins for anyone to come to us to get a drink. When we were ordering, another server interrupted and said she would take over. Not a good move and not professional. She told us she overheard our order and would recommend 'getting something different ' and was steering us away from our taco and empanada order. I get that she was probably trying to push the special (which was beef rib I 'm assuming) but we weren 't in the mood for anything heavy. Plus we have access to plenty of great beef at home. This place is definitely geared towards the gringos. I felt bad for the band having to cover sappy old rock songs for the all-white crowd lol. But the food was good. I enjoyed the fish tacos! Showed up without a reservation and they found a way to fit us in. From the bread, to the wine, the burrata and the tenderloin. Wow. I’d pay top dollar for this back home and wasn’t disappointed with the price tag here. Our server(s) were amazing and it’s the nicest glass of wine we’ve found so far in Crucecita. If you skip this place you are missing out. Btw. The empanada is the best I’ve had here. Service: Dine in

Eating out first time at Rocoto! Wow. Delicious. I was recommended the mango Thai Mahi Mahi. Holy ! that was next level. My salad was so good. My husband had the paila and it was a huge serving and delicious. To start the crab empanada was his favorite. Definitely our best seafood meal this trip.
