Feedback geven40 years old traditional Italian restaurant, good food, good service
Very disappointed. This used to be a good, reliable Italian restaurant. We used to love their gnocchis. This time we were served a plate of inedible pebbles in a mushroom sauce resembling brown shoe-polish with no mushrooms in sight. Some others in our party liked their cannelonis, that's why I am giving them 2 stars instead of none. The atmosphere is dated and dark as well.
The first time I visited Piccolo Caffe was about 36 years ago. Came back this year and was surprised to find the same server, same great food and the same atmosphere. A little beautiful place that never disappointed me!!!
This restaurant is probably one of the best Italian places to stay in Bogotá. Great food, amazing service, quiet but not boring, great natural juices, really a great choice. I tried the Champiñones a la gruyere (Gruyere Mushrooms) for appetizer, great taste and sauce was cheesy, but not oily, hard to find in other places. For the main dish the Filetto alla Greca (Greek-Talloin) and the olive tomato sauce was a wonderful surprise in combination with the beef flavor. Finally Dessert was Tiramisu, one of the best I tried in Bogotá
Excellent place, service is good and food is excellent, really recommended.
