Le Refuge Du Nomade - La Giettaz

We stay in La Giettaz most holidays and always eat at Le Refuge. Last night it was simply pizzas and Dames Blanche, but we have tried most of the menu in our last few stays it is always freshly cooked and wonderfully tasting. The house aperitif made a very refreshing start to the evening and we love the Savoie Apremont wine. Four different pizzas for four different people all very well satisfied. The owners Henri and Chantal are really friendly and stop for a chat if they have time. If we 're not back again this holiday, we will be next! Hier soir, c 'était simplement des pizzas et des Dames Blanches, mais nous avons essayé la plupart du menu lors de nos derniers séjours il est toujours fraîchement préparé et délicieusement savoureux. L 'apéro maison a fait un début de soirée très rafraîchissant et on adore le vin de Savoie Apremont . Quatre pizzas différentes pour quatre personnes différentes toutes très satisfaites. Les propriétaires Henri et Chantal sont vraiment sympathiques et s 'arrêtent pour discuter s 'ils ont le temps. Si nous ne revenons pas ces vacances, nous serons les prochains !

Although looking quite ordinary from the outside the restaurant is extremely pleasant inside with an adjacent small but very comfortable seating area (where I became installed for most of a snowy afternoon! . Food was excellent and the deserts from the boulangerie delicious. Service was genuinely friendly and efficient. Also the delicatessen counter full of mouth-watering local produce.

We had pizza a couple of times from Le Refuge whilst staying at Chalet La Giettaz over New Years and they were delicious on both occasions. Fresh, friendly and fast, thanks for your excellent service!

Very good discovery, we wanted to eat before the pass of the aravis and its tourist restaurants. The owners are very welcoming and the kitchen is really good, dishes and desserts. the terrace frame is pleasant, with 2 wise dogs, there is no problem
