While I didn't enjoy them as much as those from Einstein Bagels, they were still decent. However, we had to leave our food behind because the restaurant had a strong smell of something burning.
This charming local mom-and-pop restaurant is conveniently located near La Jolla Village Square and UCSD. They have been serving the community for many years. I even had a friend who worked here for 2-3 years during high school. Their breakfast and lunch bagel sandwiches are exceptional, featuring fresh ingredients, delicious bagels, and wonderful flavor combinations. My favorite is the sausage, egg, and cheese on a whole bagel—it’s like a much tastier version of a McMuffin. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Despite being a small shop, they offer a surprisingly extensive menu and serve some excellent coffee as well. I highly recommend giving it a try!
The Vietnamese coffee was excellent—maybe a bit sweet, but it had a rich flavor that reminded me of chocolate. The bagels were quite decent, if not good. The service was very friendly as well. Just a heads up, there's a $5 minimum for credit card payments.
Delicious bagels and served with the right amount of cream cheese. We took a veggie sandwich and a works bagel and they were both perfect! Good customer service too.
Best bagel/brunch place in the area! I was a regular for 3 years (until I moved out). Their food is great and feels very natural (no unhealthy additives). Not to mention the cost-benefit. I’ve definitely paid way more on food that I enjoyed way less. Highly recommend their “daily omelette”, “traditional”, or tuna melt.
