Greenspot Salad Company - La Jolla

I absolutely adore this restaurant! I wish there was a place with more convenient hours near Mission Valley. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the tofu shell is simply delicious!

I ordered a Caesar salad with steak through Postmates and was quite impressed with the quality for a reasonable price. The Romaine lettuce was fresh and crisp, and the steak was cooked perfectly and sliced into manageable pieces. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size of the salad along with the protein, especially for just over $10! My only suggestion would be to include more dressing, as the small container provided wasn’t quite enough for the large salad. Overall, I’ll definitely be ordering this again for a healthy lunch.

Got take out twice here now and I think it 's safe to say that I 'm a fan. It 's a salad place so it 's...well...salad. You 're not going to get some awesome creative fusion gourmet created food. Just fresh healthy salads that satisfies the tummy. So far I have ordered the Spinach Salad and Caprese Salad and both were delicious. I 'm surprised at the quality every time. With that said what I keep coming back to is the vegetarian chili! The chili has a great kick to it and honestly I don 't even notice that it 's meatless. I always have a tough time deciding where to eat for lunch and I seem to always feel that I have to settle for something healthy so I come to Greenspot. But every time I 'm glad I did!

The staff was incredibly friendly, and they offered a variety of salad options and protein choices, including chicken and steak. The steak was cooked medium rare, so I opted for the chicken instead. I also had the chance to sample all three soups before making my decision: beef stew, tomato bisque, and chili. Everything was very delicious, and the atmosphere was clean and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place and will certainly return!

Great place for a very healthy meal, great soups with a role included, extensive menu, you can see how everything is prepared, moderate prices, at least 2 vegan options or make your own packaging. Friendly staff, good portions. Diving or out. I love the reusable take bags, very environmentally friendly. Nice!
