The food is almost worth the painfully slow service and sticky tables. The waitress was great making it a 'would do again ' spot.Our late lunch (1400) should have meant reasonable service, but we waited an hour for our food.Food: 5/5

For years, we have been regular patrons of this establishment, making it our go-to sushi spot in Pacific Beach. The staff, including the sushi chefs, is exceptional, and the location adds to the overall experience. The music they play is also quite enjoyable. The food is consistently excellent, making it the perfect choice whenever you have a craving for sushi.

Very low quality and cheap ingredients. The appetizer was not fresh . I don't recommend this place. Only junk.

From the gyoza to the ikura, from the dragon roll to the seaweed salad, PB Sushi is a solid neighborhood sushi spot with great quality and no extra frills.Though some reviewers disparage the atmosphere, I've found it to be a reliable spot for fresh rolls, excellent sashimi, and a selection of sake. It also is a nice option when you can't stomach a dinner of chicken wings at another PB sports bar. Highly recommend the Salmon Lemon roll, lightly drizzled with a spicy mayo I'd love to learn to make and with the slightest crunch of tempura to accompany the salmon.The gyoza are also a standout on the menu. I have honestly no idea how they make those delicious pockets of pan-fried goodness and I certainly don't want to ruin the mystique. The dipping sauce is worth taking home. Overall, an excellent neighborhood sushi spot.
