Olive And Basil - La Jolla

I absolutely adore this restaurant. The view from the main terrace is simply breathtaking. The food is always fantastic and so delicious. The staff is lovely, polite, and friendly. If you are in the La Jolla area, this is a must-try spot!

The restaurant was quite disappointing. The food, ambiance, and service were all very mediocre and definitely have room for improvement.

Restaurant was under staffed. We waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for 4 pasta dishes. It wouldn’t have been that big of a deal, but we never got water/drink refills. Several tables that came in after us were served quickly. We finally just gave up, paid for our appetizer and left.

Good spot to grab a bite. We were seated upstairs so we had a nice view. Our server Vinny was great! He was always around when we needed him he had a wonderful attitude. We had the calamari the Spanish shrimp pasta dish. Great flavor, plenty of large shrimp the veggies on top were nice. We also wanted to try the Baklava cheesecake that our waiter suggested my goodness, it was everything!! I also think the prices for the dishes were reasonable. If you ever find yourself in La Jolla, you should def stop by!
