They have pre-made cakes available in the refrigerator, or you can customize your own before placing your order. Here's what I found noteworthy about my experience: 1. For the cake flavor, I chose pandan. 2. I selected durian for the fruit filling. 3. The icing color caught me by surprise; when I picked it up, it was green, reflecting the pandan flavor. I would have preferred pink if I had known. 4. For the side decoration, I opted for almond slices. 5. I requested a birthday message that read "six," and it was done in red. 6. The size of the cake I chose was the smallest option, a 6-inch for $28, which is roughly 6-8 servings. 7. I placed my order on a Sunday and requested a pickup for Tuesday; however, the bakery is closed on Tuesdays. They kindly offered Monday instead, so I was able to collect my order within 24 hours. 8. As for fruit decorations, I chose strawberries. The cake turned out to be amazing and delicious! It was incredibly moist, fluffy, and light, resembling a sponge cake. The pandan flavor was prominent, and the layers were generously filled with durian. The green icing was just the right level of sweetness. I'm definitely looking forward to ordering a taro and jackfruit cake for my next celebration!
I ordered the BBQ pork, custard, red bean dessert, and some cheese toast. Everything was quite tasty, but I found the bread-to-red bean ratio to be skewed; there was simply too much bread for the steamed red beans. I would recommend opting for the baked rolls instead, as they are creamy and soft. The custard wasn’t quite what I'd anticipated—it had a yellow design on top that turned out to be lemon! The BBQ pork chop was exactly what you would expect, although the texture was more like pig pile than pulled pork. The cheese toast was delicious and had a milky flavor, but the cheese didn’t reach the middle of the toast, which was a bit disappointing but not entirely unexpected. Overall, I’d definitely come back!
Small bakery big flavors. So fresh and great snacks and cakes. Drinks are also good! Staff already brought in! Thanks for being so close to my job!
Like bakeries in Chinatown in NYC. A lot of taste from my childhood. Amazing. The best sponge I've had since I left the east coat. Everything's great. The pig balls, the curry dumplings. Try everything. Very cheap.
This family-owned establishment is a true local treasure. They focus on Chinese-Vietnamese baked goods, including custom cakes. I ordered a taro cake filled with taro, and it was absolutely delightful! The 8-inch, two-layer cake cost $32. It was light and airy, with just the right amount of sweetness. The filling consisted of a layer of real taro that had been sweetened, along with a creamy layer. I can't wait to try some of their other cakes! When I went to pick up my cake, I noticed they had a small selection of pre-made cakes in the fridge, which seemed a bit more affordable than the custom options. The service was quick and efficient!
